Julie Catherine Knipe, 56, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Oshner Hospital in New Orleans.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Knipe; mother, Hellen Bergeron; 
daughter, Aubri Lee Benton; brother, Terry J. Bergeron Jr.; sisters, Lisa Smith 
and Bonnie Templeton; grandchildren, Kirk Ledet, Brooke Gilmer and Taylor, 
Kathryn and Emily Benton; and one great-grandchild, Alexandria Ledet.

She was preceded in death by her father, Terry J. Bergeron Sr.

Her last place of employment was at Petco where she made many dear friends, who 
shared her love and compassion for animals.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart 
Foundation or the Louisiana SPCA.
