LEDET, ELVIN, JR 
(Died November 18, 2013)

Elvin “E.P.” Ledet Jr., 84, was a native and resident of Thibodaux, La. He was 
born on February 1, 1929, and passed away on November 18, 2013.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 9:00 AM until 
funeral time at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux, LA. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be held at 12:00 PM. 

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara L. Ledet; children, Liz L. Hays 
and husband Donald, Terry Ledet and wife Joy, Jerry Ledet and wife Lisa, Marie 
L. LeBlanc and husband Rodney, and Tim Ledet and wife Kristi; grandchildren, 
Brad Ledet, Jordan LeBlanc, Dylan Hays, Melody Ledet, Eric LeBlanc, Zach Hays, 
Ryne Ledet, Kamron Ledet, Gabi LeBlanc, Reid Ledet, and Reyna Ledet; two 
sisters, Marie L. Prejean and Carolyn L. Hayward; and one brother, William 
Ledet and wife Ferdie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin, Sr. and Lilly Guidry Ledet; two 
sisters, Ruby L. Knobloch and Pris Ledet and step-brother Henry Cooper.

He was a career educator and coach. He was an avid family man who enjoyed 
spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed his time traveling 
and playing golf. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Landry’s Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
