Gertrude Frances Norris, 69, was a native of Brewton, AL and resident of 
Thibodaux, LA. 
She was born on April 13, 1944 and passed away on November 10, 2013.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 
PM at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux, LA and on Wednesday, November 13, 
2013 from 9:30 AM until funeral time at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in 
Chacahoula, LA. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 AM. 

Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Catholic Church cemetery in Chacahoula.

She was an extraordinary and colorful woman who enjoyed her time traveling, 
fishing, antiquing, gardening, and had a passion for food of all different 
types. She had a great love of nature and the outdoors. She loved her children 
and grandchildren tremendously.

More then anything else, she loved her Sonny. They were inseparable. She will 
be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years James "Sonny" Norris; children, Dr. 
Rollie Norris, Trudy Norris Baldwin and husband James, Zachary Norris and wife 
Melanie, April Norris Boudreaux and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Natalie 
Norris Landry (Tait), Megan Baldwin Bourg (Luke), Zach Norris Jr., Lauren 
Baldwin, Gerard Norris, Trent Baldwin, Luke Boudreaux, Frances Boudreaux, Paul 
Boudreaux, and Luci Boudreaux; great-grandchildren, Isabella Norris, Adeline 
Bourg, and Baelor Landry; three sisters, June Brown Gafford, Carolyn Brown 
Barton, and Gayle Brown, one brother, Arthur Billingsley (Clara), and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her biological parents, William Harrison Brown and 
Trudie Worthington Brown; and adoptive parents, Ira and Alice Brown Billingsley 
and sister, Jerrie Brown Self.
