URSIN ALPHONSE "ZOONE" OUBRE: Died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at River Region 
Hospice in River Ridge, LA. 

He was 85 and a native of Vacherie, LA until he resided at the Southeast 
Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA for the past 4 years. 

Funeral Services on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church, 2361 Hwy 18, Edgard, LA, Rev. John-Nhan Tran and Rev. 
Robustiano Morgia celebrants. 

Interment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church cemetery in Edgard, LA. 

Visitations from 9:00am to funeral time on Tuesday. Recitation of the rosary at 
10:00am. Members of the Good Children Society, Knights of Peter Claver and 
neighboring churches are invited to attend. Survived by 3 daughters and 
spouses, Elizabeth and Charles Coleman, Donna and Rodney Barber, Jr., and 
Jeanene and Chris Hammond; 2 sons, Ursin, Jr. and Rodney Oubre; 2 
grandchildren, Carlo Paul Barbier and Grace Felice Hammond, and a host of 
sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Grace Cannon Oubre; a daughter, Zelma Oubre; 
both parents and 9 siblings.
