Elza White Picou, 86, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 
2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 12 p.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Aimee Duplantis and husband, Terry, and 
Wayne Picou Jr.; great-grandchild, Teal Duplantis; and sisters, Mrs. Raymond 
(Nora) Domangue, Mrs. Gary (Theresa) Domangue and Mrs. Jimmie (Doris) 
Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elfey Picou; parents, Denis White and 
Nora Blanchard White; son, Wayne Picou Sr.; daughters, Norma Jane Naquin and 
Arlene Picou; brothers, Enis Sr., Frank Sr., Earnest, Gilbert, Charles, Anthony 
and Allen White; sisters, Lorine White, Agnes Hebert Arceneaux and Octavia 
Eymard; two infant sisters; and one infant grandchild.

She was a member of the American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary, Ward 7 and Ladies 
Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Special thanks goes to St. Catherine's Hospice and Heritage Manor of Houma.
