Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1311.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Chris Michael Vicari, 48, a resident of New Orleans, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Mothe Funeral Home at 7040 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Westlawn Cemetery. Chris was the beloved son of Guy Anthony Vicari and the late Barbara Falgout Vicari. He is survived by his sisters, Donna Vicari, Lesley (Thomas) Knapp, Beth (Ric) Fisher and Julie Vicari. He is also survived by his nephews, Ryan and James Knapp; stepmother, Mary Beth Vicari; step-siblings, Stephen Shaw, John Shaw and Maria Archer; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris was loved by his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Dawson, numerous friends, co-workers of Pacorini Metals and his faithful dog, Zeus McAllister. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Salvador and Marie Vicari and Guy and Irene Falgout Sr. Chris graduated from O. Perry Walker High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. He was a kindhearted, loving and generous soul who was adored by all who knew him. Always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, Chris had a sharp wit and a heart of gold. He was a lifelong Saints and LSU fan and a competitive pool player. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Covenant House, 611 N. Rampart St., New Orleans, LA 70112.
