Aaron "Nonkie" Ward, 52, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at 
7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Luke Baptist 
Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in St. Luke Baptist Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his fiancee, Judy Ann Ruffin; mother, Shirley Mae Townsend 
Ward; daughters, Tracey and Kimberly Ruffin; brothers, Frederick Sr., Michael, 
Roosevelt Jr., Jeffery, Stanley and Kenny Ward; sisters, Sheila Townsend, 
Eileen Manuel and husband, Mickel, and Christa Carter and husband, James; five 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Ward Sr.; brother, Everette 
Ward; maternal grandparents, Mack and Mildred Allen Townsend; and paternal 
grandparents, Joseph Sr. and Sadie Adams Ward. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
