Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his special companion, Ara Mae Brunet; son, Louis David Boudreaux; daughters, Annie Lourie Dupre and husband, Myron "Maurice" and Denise Boudreaux Guidry; stepdaughter, Karen Gray and husband, Frank; brothers, Adam Boudreaux and wife, Delores, and David Boudreaux and wife, Gloria; special family friend, Steven Legendre; grandchildren, Erin Dupre and husband, Russ, of Houma, Jenna Tabrizi and husband, Ali, of Houston, Texas, Rebecca Guidry and fiance, Steven Fox, of Houma, Katie Logan and husband, John, of Fayette, Miss., Daniel Boudreaux and wife, Kayla, of Picayune, Miss., and Sarah Stamatellos and husband, John, of Jay, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Reece, J.C., Josiah, Wesley and Tia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Moye Penney Boudreaux; parents, Dennis Michael Boudreaux and Effie Bonvillain Boudreaux; brothers, Dennis "Lloyd" Boudreaux, Allen Boudreaux, and Donald "2-Boy" Boudreaux; grandchildren, Nichole "Nikki" Boudreaux and Corey Guidry; and former wife, Annie Dishman Boudreaux. Louis worked many years at Southdown Sugars before starting his own business. He was the owner of Louis Boudreaux Mobile Home Movers for more than 25 years. He had a strong work ethic which he passed on to his children. He was very devoted to his family and loved them very much. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly.
