Catherine A. Bourgeois, 83, a resident of Lubbock, TX and native of Chacahoula, 
LA, died Thursday, December 19, 2013. She was born July 2, 1930.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm 
at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at the church 

followed by burial in St. Lawrence Catholic Church cemetery in Chacahoula.

She is survived by children, Michael Joseph Bourgeois and wife Brenda, Beryl 
Bourgeois Meyerhoff and husband Stanley, and Octave John Bourgeois; sisters, 
Betty Ann Adams, Bertha Claire Adams, and Helen Adams Upton; grandchildren, 
Candice Bourgeois Odom and husband Shain, Bridgette Bourgeois Cooper and 
husband Brian, Alana Bourgeois Baliga and husband Vikram, Corinne Meyerhoff 
Kuehner and husband Jeremy, and Kyle Vincent Meyerhoff; great-grandchildren, 
Melodie Grace Odom, Michael Hale Odom, and Evan Michael Cooper; niece, Nicole 
Upton Bishop and husband Stanley; great-nieces, Makayla Bishop and Samantha 
Bishop; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Joseph Bourgeois; parents, 
Norman Paul Adams and Gladys Guillot Adams; daughter, Lana Bourgeois Dauzat; 
and brothers, Gilbert Peter Adams and Paul Norman Adams, Jr.
