BROWN, JOHN ALFRED 

John Alfred Brown, 71, a resident of Baldwin, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 
2013. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Brown; son, Reginald Brown, of 
Charenton; daughter, Rachel Brown, of Scott; brothers, James Carlton Brown and 
Berlon Leonard Brown, both of Baldwin, and Paul Stafford Brown Jr., of 
Jeanerette; sister, Rose Marie Brown Lasalle, of Patterson; 14 grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Stafford Brown Sr. and Rose 
Trilby Brown.
