CHERRY, ELIJAH  

Elijah Anthony Cherry, infant, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, 
died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 
Funeral services will be at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He is 
survived by his mother, Brooke Cherry; father, Lawrence LeBouef; grandparents, 
Silas and Debra Cherry Frank, and June LeBouef; great-grandfathers, Wesley 
Cherry and Lawrence Pitre Jr.; great-grandmother, Lonie Delcambre; godparents, 
Wesley Joseph Cherry and Alisha Trahan; and uncle, Silas Cherry Jr. He was 
preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Rita Ann Romero, Barbara "Bobbie" 
Ledet and Mary Barbara LeBouef; and aunt, Shannon Bergeron. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
