Rena Marie Ponville Hebert Deslatte, 84, a native of Kaplan and resident of 
Donner, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. 
She was born Sept. 26, 1929.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Lawrence 
Catholic Church in Chacahoula. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Lawrence Catholic Church cemetery in Chacahoula.

She is survived by her husband, Harry J. Deslatte; children, Kenneth Hebert and 
wife, Brenda Trosclair Hebert, Rodney J. Hebert, Marilyn Hebert Landry Walker 
and husband, Joseph Walker Sr., Carolyn Hebert, Darrell Hebert and wife, 
Jeannie Marie Hebert, Diane Hebert Aucoin and husband, Kerry J. Aucoin, Carol 
Ann Hebert Duet and late husband, Darryl Duet, Belinda Hebert Raburn and 
husband, John Raburn, and Danny Hebert and wife Annette Duet Hebert; 
grandchildren, Cheryl Cortez and husband, Shawn Cortez, Brett A. Hebert and 
wife, Renise D. Hebert, Shane Landry, Nicole Moore and husband, Joshua Moore, 
Lance Landry and wife, Kelly Landry, Kayla Poche and husband Noah Poche, 
Kimberly Landry, Jamie LeBouef and companion, Brian Chaisson, Crissy Thibodaux,

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Junius J. Hebert; parents, 
Aristile and Agnes Faulk Ponville; brother, Dudley Ponville; sisters, Ruby Mae 
Morrison and Gloria Ann Moody; and grandchild, Courtney Simon.
