FORET, ALEXANDER  

Alexander Charles Foret, six weeks, a native and resident of Houma, died at 
2:29 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. 

Funeral services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Chauvin 
Funeral Home in Houma. 

He is survived by his parents, Christen Lynn Price and Blake Stephens Foret; 
grandparents, Ronnie and Olivia "Daisy" Parfait, Cheryl Dupre and Diane 
Waltman; step-grandmother, Robin Foret; great-grandmothers, Marion Parfait and 
Gloria Dupre; great-great-grandmother, Jean Foret; great-great-grandfather, 
Milton Landry; uncles, Matthew Price, Trent Parfait, Drew Parfait and Taylor 
Doles; aunts, Darian Parfait and Tiffany Dupre; great-aunts, Sherrie Parfait 
and Rhonda Samperi; and godparents, Matthew Price, Lindsay Brown, Shawn and 
Gordon "Red Bird" Guidry. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Barry Stephens Foret; great-
grandfathers, Ronald Parfait Sr. and Hubert Dupre Sr.; great-great-
grandmothers, Mary Parfait Dupre and Melvina Landry; and great-aunt, Amanda 
Liner. 

Alexander was a happy baby boy. He lived a great six weeks. Every time we would 
visit him, he made sure to show us his beautiful smile. He knew my voice, when 
I would talk to him, his eyes would light up. Alexander brought so much joy to 
all of our lives, he was the light of our days. Alexander was loved by so many 
people. 
Rest in peace, little man, we all love you and miss you very much. But Jesus 
said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such 
belongs the kingdom of Heaven." (Matt. 19:14) 

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
