NAOMI F. HOWARD: A homemaker, she died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at River Region 
Hospice with her family at her side. 
She was 82, a native of Barataria, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA. 

Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, 1204 Cleveland St., Thibodaux, 
LA, from 1;00PM TO 3:00pm Friday, Dec. 27, 2013. Visiting at Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church, Thibodaux, LA, from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am Saturday, 
Dec. 28, 2013. 

Burial in Zion Memorial Gardens. 

Survived by her husband of 62 years, James Howard of Thibodaux, LA; 2 
daughters, Mona Collins and Jamie Howard of Thibodaux, LA; 1 brother and 
spouse, Leon and Ruby Forges of Algiers, LA; Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 
11 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Michel and Hilda Forges; 2 infants, James 
Howard, Jr. and Eva Howard; 2 sisters, Augustine White and Margaret Hunter; 2 
brothers, Mercury Landry and James Forges, Sr.; A son-in-law, Earl "Nicky" 
Fletcher; Mother-in-law, Eva Valentine; Father-in-law, Henry Howard; Brother-
in-law, Edward Tucker.
