RUTH OLLIS JONES: A homemaker, she died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at Baton Rouge 
General - Bluebonnet, in Baton Rouge, LA. 
She was 79, a native and resident of Belle Rose, LA. 

Visiting at Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, LA from 2:00pm to 
4:30pm Friday, Dec. 27, 2013. Visiting at Greater Israel Baptist Church, Belle 
Rose, LA from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 
conducted by Rev. Ronald Dorsey. 

Burial in Greater Israel Baptist Church cemetery, Belle Rose. 

Survived by her husband, Edwin Jones of New Orleans, LA; 1 son and spouse, 
Anthony and Patricia Jones of Belle Rose, LA; 2 daughters and spouse, Wanda and 
Rev. James Dorsey of Belle Rose, LA, and Sheila Jones of Darrow, LA; 1 sister, 
Elizabeth Landry of Belle Rose, LA; 1 brother and spouse, Ernest and Ava 
Truxillo of Belle Rose, LA; 1 grandchild and spouse, Keanna and Frederick 
Boudreaux of Zachary, LA; 7 sisters-in-law, Lasonna and Carolyn Truxillo, Gail 
Williams, Josephine Lewis, Sylvia Wilson, Gail Coleman, and Cassandra Clark; 4 
brothers-in-law, Cennes Morris, Rodney Jones, Sullivan Williams, and Don 
Coleman; Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Gus Ollis and Elizabeth Williams; 1 daughter, 
Sharon Jones; 9 brothers, Albert Williams, Augusta and Felix Truxillo, Raymond, 
Walter, Morris, Ernest, Sr., and Gus Ollis, Sr., and Herman Desira; 2 sisters, 
Eva Mae Ollis and Mae Rose Morris.
