After marrying Donald Landry on January 28th, 1961, they briefly lived in Galveston, TX, and then moved to Houma, LA. She died Sunday, December 1st, 2013, peacefully in her home. Visitation will be Friday, December 6th between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Judith is survived by her five children, Daniel Landry, Regina Landry Thibodeaux and husband Lonnie Thibodeaux, Kurt Landry and wife Laura Landry, Joel Landry and wife Michelle Landry, and Jane-Clair Landry Kerin and husband Steven Kerin; sisters Martha Welch and husband Don Welch, Kathryn Thorstad and husband Dr. Willis Thorstad, Betty Gray and husband Marvin Gray; grandchildren ReBecca Sielle, Hayden Landry, Kaitlyn Thibodeaux, Kyler Thibodeaux, Landon Thibodeaux, Peyton Landry and Sarah Landry; great grandchildren, Davanee Siele and Salvatore Siele. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her husband Donald Landry and her parents Gail and Irene Atkins. Judith enjoyed gardening, cajun dancing, fishing, traveling, books and spending time with her family and friends. She retired after many years as a librarian in the Terrebonne Parish School system. Those who knew her loved her and will greatly miss her and her beautiful smile. ======================
