Lefort, 89, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away on Thursday December 12, 2013. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 16 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanna Lefort Pitre and husband Daniel; sons, Chester Lefort and wife Linda, Phillip Lefort and wife Christine, Sidney Lefort, Jr. and wife Lynn; Grandchildren: Shane Pitre, Chad Pitre & fiancé, Norma Hebert, Danielle Bryant & husband, William, Jamie Lefort, John Allen Lefort & fiancé, Erica, Jason Lefort & wife, Norma and Casey Gaspard & husband, Dexter.; great-grandchildren, Joshua Pitre & companion, Holly Kiger, Meghan Pitre, Alexander Pitre, Jace Pitre, Ariel Pitre, Rufus Gisclair, Whitley Lefort, Ronin Lefort, Cole Gaspard, & Lyla Gaspard. Great-great-granddaughter, Izabella Rae Pitre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Lefort, Sr.; parents, Ambrose and Emeline Angelette Martin; brother, Chester Martin; sisters, Celestine Cheramie, Celeste Kiffe, Mildred Vizier. Noemie loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She enjoyed going to church, eating out, going to the casino and family outings. Special thanks go to Dr. Camille Pitre and Deanna Hodson of the LOS Larose Clinic, nurses, aides and staff of The Broadway for the wonderful care they all gave our Mother and to all who touched her life.
