MADISON, ALBERTA "ALMA"  

Alberta "Alma" Louise Madison, 71, a native and resident of Franklin, died at 
12:18 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Stephen 
Baptist Church in Franklin. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church. 

She is survived by her companion, Johnny L. Price, of Franklin; sons, Darryl 
Reed, of Franklin, Christopher Willis, of Lafayette, and Jody Bennett, of 
Houston, Texas; daughters, Lois Thomas, Cynthia Reed, Jessica Adlam, Denise 
Madison and Joy Bernard, all of Houston, Texas, and Joyce Freeman, of 
Lafayette; brother, Monroe Madison, of Franklin; stepbrother, George Moore, of 
Houston, Texas; sisters, Agnes Jones and Betty Alexander, both of Franklin, 
Brenda Brent, of Houston, Texas, and Audrey Williams, of Lake Charles; 
stepsisters, Lillian Johnson, of Franklin, and Metilda Davis, of Houston, 
Texas; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Jones Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
