Ollie Matherne Rogers, 89, a native of Houma and a resident of Bayou Blue, died 
Friday, December 06, 2013.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 08, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Bayou 
Blue United Methodist Church. Visitation will resume Monday, December 9, 2013 
from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. A funeral service will be held 
on Monday, December 09, 2013at 11:00 AM at Bayou Blue United Methodist Church. 

Burial will be in Matherne Cemetery, Houma,LA.

She is survived by her:
Son - Jimmy Rogers (Marilyn)
Daughters- Judy Authement (Alton), Cheryl Henry (Harvey)
Sisters: Ruth Matherne & Enola Martin
11 Grandchildren
numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by:
Husband- EJ Joseph Rogers
Parents- Lovincy & Elvire Matherne
Grandsons: John Labit & Sammy Labit
Daughter- Dianne Rogers Labit & husband Ralph
Brothers: Percy Wiltz, Louis and Earl Matherne
Sisters: Pearl Dufrene, Mae Dufrene and Winnie Authement.
