Marie Trahan Schexnayder, 92, a native of Welsh, LA and a resident of Cut Off, 
LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 4:55 AM in Cut Off, LA.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2013 at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 

with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery, Larose.

She is survived by her sons, Larry B. Schexnayder, Farrell D. Schexnayder and 
wife Cindy; daughters, Rachel Williams and husband Ted, Donna Picou and husband 
Phillip, Darlene Williams and husband Parrish; brother, Roy Trahan; 13 
grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Schexnayder; sons, Darryl J. 
Schexnayder, Gary L. Schexnayder; daughter-in-law, Beulah Schexnayder; parents 
Eugene and Elena Mallet Trahan; brother, Dupre Trahan; sisters, Rose Mallet and 
Mathilda Arceneaux.
