Henry "Han" Thomas Sevin Sr., 73, a native of Cocodrie and resident of 
Montegut, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with 
burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sevin; daughters, Julie M. Sevin, Charita A. 
Sevin and Kandy S. Dossett and husband, Wallace Lane; sons, Henry T. Sevin Jr. 
and wife, Sherrie, Shane A. Sevin and wife, Deanna, and Scott J. Sevin; 
stepsons, Howard Hebert Jr. and wife, Aimee, William Hebert, Wilfred Hebert, 
Vincent Hebert and Chad Hebert; stepdaughters, Nancy Naquin, Melissa Hebert, 
Kim Hebert and Tina Hebert; sisters, Theresa "Terez" Nelton and husband, Elmore 
Sr., Janell Voisin and husband, Carroll, Analee "LeeLee" Authement, Gloria Neal 
and husband, Nome, Genevieve Bourg, Betty Boque and Eva "Pive" Roberts and 
husband, Roy; 11 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Onazip and Agnes Marie Hebert Sevin; 
brothers, Norris and Nac Sevin; sister, Zoe Sevin Beams; and step-grandson, 
Chris Hebert.
