VOISIN, EARL  

Earl J. Voisin, 75, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at the Southwest Regional 
Medical Center in McComb, Miss. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Houma. 

A memorial service will also be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Catholic 
Church in McComb, Miss. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Valerie Voisin, 
of McComb, Miss.; sons, Demetrius Voisin, of McComb, Miss., and Earl Voisin 
Jr., of Kinder; daughters, Amanda Forester, of McComb, Miss., Stephanie Voisin, 
of Houma, and Lorrie Voisin, of Houma; seven grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and five brothers. 

He was born Aug. 19, 1938, in Dulac, to John and Alfreda Bourg Voisin. He was a 
retired civil engineer inspector who worked for several companies and retired 
from GSC. 
He was of the Catholic faith. He was a longtime resident of McComb, Miss. He 
loved his family and friends and enjoyed wood working. 

Catchings Funeral Home in Mccomb, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.
