She was born March 3, 1933. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Monday at First United Methodist Church at 930 North Blvd., in Baton Rouge. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the church conducted by the Rev. Brad Franklin. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Rogers Cemetery, 635 Bayou Blue Rd. in Houma, conducted by the Rev. Chris Andrews. Pallbearers will be Kevin Griffon, James Gibbons, Art guillory, and Andre Elfer. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Arceneaux and Clinda Arceneaux Griffon; grandchildren, Kim Guillory and husband, Art, Nancy Elfer and husband, Andre, Katie Gibbons and husband, James, Kevin Griffon and wife, Renee, and Michelle Rodriguez; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berkley Arceneaux; daughter, Ramona Arceneaux, M.D.; parents, Leonard and Corinne Wells Lavigne; and great- grandchild, Mason Guillory. Virginia retired as an elementary school teacher for the public school system of Terrebonne Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements. ======================
