Betty Becnel, age 82, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her 
residence. 

She was a homemaker and sold Avon for 30 years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am 
at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass of Christian Burial will 
be held at 11:00 am. 

Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church mausoleum in Vacherie.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Patrick Becnel; daughters Sylvia 
Landry and husband Keith, Hilda Kraemer and husband Selves, Linda Peterson and 
her husband Kenny and Marlene Baye and her husband Luke. Sixteen grandchildren, 
39 great-grandchildren and 14 great great grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Elize Larousse and Sidney Nicholas. 
One brother, Hilton Nicholas, sister Lucy Reulet, two grandsons; Nicholas 
Morvant and Matthew Falgoust.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all for eternity.
