Shawn Joseph Bourg, Sr., 45, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Bayou Blue. Funeral services will be at 11 
a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Marcel Bourg; mother, Claudia Prosperie; son, 
Shawn Bourg Jr.; daughters, Bethany Bourg and Brandie Lopez; brother, John 
Bourg Jr.; sisters, Mary Usé, Crystal Billiot, and Loucinda Prosperie; and 
seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Bourg Sr.; sons, Devin Bourg and 
Rusty Marcel; and brother, Jearmie Bourg Sr.
