Sidney Louis Cancienne, 62, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. Funeral services will be at 
11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert 
officiating. Music will be provided by Pat Menard. Readers will be Joshua 
Dubois and Kim Toothman. 

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. 

Pallbearers will be Cara Dubois, Luis Ortiz, Joshua Dubois, Jeovany Pinilla, 
Jacob Harmon, and Wayne Toothman. 

He is survived by his daughters, Courtney Pinilla and husband, Jeovany, and 
Cara Dubois and husband, Joshua; grandchildren, Alianie Pinilla and Liam 
Dubois; nephew, Luis Ortiz and wife, Jackie; and nieces, Robyn Harmon, Leslie 
Cancienne, Vickie Esponge, Ginger Cancienne, Kim Toothman, and Erica Devillier. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Eric Louis Cancienne; mother, Annie 
Maude Cancienne; brother, Robert Leslie Cancienne; and sister, Anita Ann Ortiz. 

Sidney enjoyed fishing, boating, music, concerts, and riding his motorcycle. He 
also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
