Anthony Catanese, 89, a life-long resident of Houma, died Monday, Jan. 20, 
2014. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Catanese and Toni C. Hicks and husband, 
Gilbert Hicks; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Blanchard Catanese; and son, 
Robert Anthony Catanese. 

He was a World War II veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
