Norris "T-Nor" Cheramie, 83, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed 
away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will 
be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Golden 
Meadow. 

He is survived by his son, Daniel Cheramie and wife, Sherry; daughter, Marion 
Cheramie Danos and husband, Rick; caregiver and granddaughter-in-law, Chantell 
Naquin Danos; granddaughters, Shawn Danos and Danielle Angelle; grandsons, 
Kenny Cheramie, and Dylan and Bryce Desporte; great-grandchildren, Tyler 
Angelle, Bailey Danos and Rocky Danos Jr.; stepdaughters, Margret LeBella and 
Brenda Terrebonne; brother, Irby "Black" Cheramie; sister, Norma Vizier; and 
numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, step-grandchildren and step-great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ethel Morris Cheramie; parents, 
Torres and Viola Cheramie; son, Curtis Terrebonne; daughter, Gail Cheramie; 
granddaughter, Shawna Danos; and grandson, Rocky Danos Sr. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
