Octavia T. Clement, 96, was born on December 26, 1917 and passed away on 
January 31, 2014. 
She was a native and resident of Choupic, LA.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, February 04, 2014 at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay, LA from 8:00 AM until the 
Mass of Christian Burial which will begin at 10:30 AM. 

The burial will be held in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery 
in Chackbay following the Mass of Christian Burial.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Daniel J. Clement; two daughters, 
Dolores Gravois and husband Edwin and Merline Brazan; son, Norman Clement and 
wife Mary; two sisters, Adele Braud and Dolia Morvant; 15 grandchildren; 29 
great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry A. Clement; two sons, 
Mervin and Ervin Clement; parents, Orville and Cecilla Trosclair; three 
sisters, Bridget Clement, Odessa Morvant, and Leona LeBlanc; brother, Norris 
Trosclair; son-in-law, Fred Brazan and daughter- in- law, Rosalie Folse 
Clement.
