Mary Cruse, 70, a native of Watervalley and resident of Houma, died Monday, 
Jan. 6, 2014.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her sons, Robin Sumrall, and Rodney Sumrall and wife, Tammy; 
brothers, Buddy, Billy, and Henry Davis; sisters, Melba Webb, Debbie Davis, and 
Janice Hopkins; grandchildren, Mindy Brauns, Kayla Sumrall, Fancy Sumrall, Rita 
Maronge, Brooke Sumrall, Courtney Sumrall, Ashlee Sumrall, and Ashton Sumrall; 
and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Cameron; and grandchild, Scotty 
Thibodaux.
