Ned Dantin, 45, a native of Galliano and resident of Golden Meadown, died 
Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday 
at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church cemetery in Larose. 

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Dantin; father, Nelson E. Dantin; son, 
Brayden Dantin; daughter, Taylah Dantin; stepdaughter, Destanie Verret 
Trosclair; brothers, Keith Lafont and councilman Jerry Lafont; and sisters, 
Sheila Lafont and Rebekah Potter. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean G. Dantin. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
