DELCO SR., RAYMOND  

Raymond Delco Sr., 81, a native of Amelia and resident of Morgan City, died at 
8:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Zorah 
Baptist Church in Morgan City. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at 
the church, 

with burial in Morgan City Cemetery. 

He is survived by his sons, Raymond (Myra) Delco Jr., of Berwick, and Michael 
and John Delco, of Morgan City; daughters, Mrs. Damian (Shirley) Johnson and 
Lenora Delco, of Morgan City, Mrs. Calvin (Barbara) Brent, of Chicago, Ill., 
Mrs. Sammy (Elizabeth) Briggs, of Beaumont, Texas, and Judy Delco, of Amelia; 
brothers, Renardo Delco, of Patterson, Alvin Delco, of Tallahassee, Fla., and 
Joseph Delco, of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Willie (Delores) Gash, of Bayou 
Vista, and Mrs. Earl (Carolyn) Rose, of Thibodaux; 13 grandchildren; and six-
great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Delco and Bernice Wilson Delco; 
wife, Enola Johnson Delco; three brothers; five sisters; and daughter, Robin 
Delco Ortiz. Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
