John P. Duet Sr., 74, a native of Labadieville and resident of New Orleans, 
died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic 
Church in Raceland, 

with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church cemetery in Raceland. 

He is survived by his son, John Paul Duet Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Duet; brother, 
Lawrence Duet Jr. sister, Audrey Pennington; and two grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Duet Sr. and Doris Aysen 
Duet; brother, Percy Duet; and sister, Mona Falgout. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
