He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, sons, Ralph Ellender, III, Glenn Ellender and wife Melinda, Jimmie Ellender, daughter, Michele Melancon and husband Brent, grandchildren, Christopher Fonseca, Joseph Ellender, Jennifer Hancock, Tonja Ellender, Katie Landry, Tiffany Ellender, and Chelsea Melancon, great grandchildren, Keith Crochet, Gracie Billiot, Nicholas Ellender, Christian Choate, Ethan Hancock, Addison Landry, and Korie Landry, and brothers, Michael Ellender. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Daisy Sevin Ellender, parents, Ralph Mitchel Ellender, Sr. and Aline Pitre Ellender, grandparents, Benard Pitre and Anecia Hebert Pitre, and Lee Ellender and Aglea Thibodaux Ellender, and sisters, Carol"Susie" Ann Ellender, He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was retired from Global Industries. He loved to hunt. He especially loved spending time with his brother Michael and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. ======================
