A life toast will be held today from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Greenoaks Reception Center at 9607 Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge. Please dress casually and bring stories to share about Frank. Visitation will be from noon until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral in Houma. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, wtih burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his son, F. Connor Finucane; Veronica Finucane; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Denise Finucane; niece and goddaughter, Ciara Finucane; niece, Allyson Taylor; and nephew, D.J. Finucane. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank Finucane and Peggy Cenac.Special thanks goes to his friends who were always there for him, Harold Vesper, Dean "Deano" Guidry, David "Tank" Berashear, Mike Fiebig, John "Huck" Huckaby, and Mark Brennan. Frank was the parts manager at Light Speed Motor Sports. He was a big, tall man who lived his life with uncanny grace. He loved his son, Connor, and was involved in his sporting activities without being the overbearing parent. A team player, Frank was always there to help his friends anyway he could. His presence brightened up any occasion and he even took care of old jokes, making sure they never died.
