He was born June 14, 1927. A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. His body was donated to science. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Clement Larrabes Foret; sons, Norris Foret Jr. and Philip Foret; stepsons, Joe (Michelle) Wratislaw, of Raceland, and Joey (Mindy) Simon, of Chackbay; two granddaughters; son-in-law, Daniel Jones; step son-in-law, Joseph Guidry; three great-grandchildren; six step-great- grandchildren; brothers, Allen (Louise), of Raceland, Leonard Foret, of Texas, Clarence Foret, of Florida, and Donald (Willa) Foret, of Mississippi; and sisters, Vicky Chiasson, of Chackbay, Gertrude (Erjie) Chiasson, of Lockport, and May Catherine (Billy) Young, of Raceland. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Jones, of Raceland; parents, Davis and May Pertuit, of Raceland; stepmother, Anna C. Foret, of Raceland; brother, Sammy Foret, of Raceland; sisters, Alice May Pierce, Rita Enid DiMarco, and Lydia (Leroy) Folse, of Raceland; and four stepdaughters. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0349 in Raceland. He loved roses and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a retired car salesman. ======================
