Jeanetta "Woot" Franklin, 72, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Montegut, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Peter Baptist 
Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Moses, of Chauvin, Gladys Scott 
(Leonard) Payne, of Montegut, and Dorthea and Evelyn Parker, of New Orleans. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Franklin; parents, Elsie C. 
Clay and Ben Parker; brothers, Haywood and Andrew Clay; and sisters, Shirley 
and Sandra Parker. 

Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
