Pauline Leonard Gauthreaux, 95, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 
10:54 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

She is survived by her sons, Alexis "Sonny" (Hazel) Gauthreaux, and David 
(Darlene) Gauthreaux; daughters, Mona (Horace) Danos, and Julie (Ray) 
Martinolich; 14 grandchildren, Mark Gauthreaux, Ann Hilman, Leslie Naquin, 
Christien Richard, Michael Danos, Amy Borgeois, Jason Martinolich, Katie 
Kramer, Becky Ordyne, Karen Dyer, Jacob Gauthreaux, Angelle Mena, Monique 
Broussard, and Nicole Gauthreaux; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alex Gauthreaux; parents, 
Avie and Juliette Leonard; and sisters, Jeanne Doucet, Louise Barrios, and 
Gladys Pittman. 

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother many times over. She was dearly 
loved and will be missed by her family and friends. 

The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff and 
residents of Lafourche Home for the Aged for the compassionate care given to 
Pauline. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
