Billie Jo Gros, 77, a native of Columbus, Ga., and resident of Labadieville, 
died at 3:42 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Philomena 
Hall in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday at 
the hall. 

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Gros; sons, Steve Gros and wife, 
Connie, and Ricky Gros and wife, Tammy; daughters, Jacqueline Gros and fiancé, 
Edward Boeker, and Sandra Vernor and husband, Robert; 11 grandchildren; and 
nine great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Gilford and Molly Benton; sons, Michael 
and Mark Gros; daughter, Debra Gros; brothers, Hershel and James; and sisters, 
Mildred, Lois, Doris, Sue. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
