Julie Ann Weaver Guidry, 51, a native of Houma and resident of Crowley, died 
Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Wednesday at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. Funeral services will be 
at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Evans 
officiating. 

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband, Hubert C. Guidry III; sons, Sean Vannoy and 
wife, Erin, of Lemoore, Calif., Jeremy Vannoy and fianceé, Trina Sunday, of 
Ridgecrest, Calif., Ian Vannoy, of Houma, Hubert Guidry IV and wife, Ashley, of 
Morse, and Nicholas Guidry and wife, Kacy, of Jennings; grandchildren, Brianna, 
Tara, Conner, Jude, Alanie, Peyton, Lydia, and Hunter; mother, Betty Jean Legg 
Weaver; sister, Penny Kelly and husband, Chad, of Houma; brother-in-law, Keith 
Guidry and wife, Rona of Gueydan; and many loving nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvie Lee Weaver; and her father-in-
law, Hubert Guidry Jr. 

Julie was born Oct. 31, 1962, in Houma. 
She was a nurse for 25 years and worked for several nursing homes and was 
currently with Compass Health Care. 
She loved fishing, target practice and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley is in charge of arrangements.
