Dot Sturgill Hamby, 81, of Slidell, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from 
10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Honaker Funeral Home at 1751 Gause Blvd. 
West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery) in Slidell. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Hilary Cemetery in Raceland. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Hamby; mother of Michael (Pam) Hamby, 
Lisa Hamby, Mark Hamby and Callie Hamby (Yale) Landry; sister of the late Nell 
Laudun and Ann Philibert; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Erin, Ross, Derek, 
Colette Sundstrom, and Nikki Kelly; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kagan, and 
Brianna. 

Honaker Funeral Home in Slidell is in charge of the arrangements.
