Junius Hebert, 87, was born on July 31, 1926 and passed away on January 24, 
2014. 
He was a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Saint Genevieve 
Catholic Church from 8:30 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Dolores Stevens; children, 
Gary Hebert, Randall J. Hebert and spouse Benita, Lisa Silverii and spouse 
Stan; grandchildren, Toby Lopasky, Marshall Hebert, Allison Zellman, Kelly 
Flippo, Melissa Collins, Brenen Hebert, Randi Hebert, Ashley Silverii, Hailey 
Silverii; sisters, Doris Naquin and Ruth Knight; 9 great-grandchildren, and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded by his former wife, Mrs. Pearl B. Adams; parents, Phillip and 
Marian Hebert; grandchild, Tyler Hebert; sisters, Velma Ledet, Merlyn Hebert, 
Pearl LeBlanc; brothers, Dewey Hebert, Scuddy Hebert, Stanley Hebert.

He was a simple man who loved to garden, dance, and BBQ with his family and 
friends. 
He was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish and hunt. 
He was a devoted family man and will be greatly missed by his family and 
friends. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff 
at Lafourche Home for the Aged.
