Gladys Howard, 92. A resident of Gray, Louisiana died on January 21, 2014 at 
10:55a.m. 

Visitation Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Community 
Funeral Home from 5-7p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist 
Church 3076 West Main St., Gray, LA on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Visitation 
from 9a.m until funeral time at 11:00a.m. 

She is survived by two sons, Samuel Howard, Jr., and Michael Howard. Five 
daughters, Yvonne H. Garner, Laura H. Tucker, Betty H. Brown, Lorraine Howard 
and Beverly H. Matthews. 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 7 great-
great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Howard, Sr. Parents, William 
Barrow and Louisa Collins Barrow. Sons, William H. Howard and Floyd Howard. 
Brothers, Jack, Melvin Sr., Charlie, Lawrence Sr., William Sr., and Curtis 
Barrow and Walter Thomas. Sisters, Nettie Francis, Laura Miller and Sophia 
Reed. 

She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church
