Willie Stean Jefferson, 66, a native of Tylertown, MS and resident of Houma, 
LA, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at 4:20 a.m.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at 
St. Luke Baptist Church in Waterproof. Dismissal services will be held at 10:00 
a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Lee's Chapel in Tylertown, MS 

with burial in Lee's Chapel cemetery in Tylertown.

She is survived by: her husband, John Jefferson; one daughter, Naquada 
Jefferson; two sons, Darrell and John Jefferson, Jr.; two sisters, Charlene 
(Sonny) Lewis and Lula Mae Magee; one brother, Ellis Ross (Dorothy) Hogan; nine 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie Holmes and Helen Duncan-
Hogen; and one brother, John H. Holmes.

Jones Funeral Home of Houma in charge of arrangements.
