Bettye Debord Jennings, 86, a native of Whiteside, Tenn., and resident of 
Kennesaw, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Piedmont Road 
Church of Christ in Marietta, Ga. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. 

She is survived by her son, Tim Jennings and wife, Deana, of Dallas, Ga.; 
daughter, Vicky J. Marcel and husband, Ronnie, of Houma; six grandchildren; and 
13 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Jennings; parents, Fred and 
Jessie Beatrice Turner Debord; brother, Vernon Martin Debord; and sisters, 
Freida D. Rogers and Nadine D. Grant. 

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
