Ronald "Shorty" Joseph King, 51, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, 
died at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Moses Baptist 
Church in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in Moses Baptist Church cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Waller-King and companion, Roosevelt 
Nevers Jr.; companion, Cindy Vining; son, Rondell M. Young; daughter, Yekema N. 
Jenkins and companion, Christian Matthews; sisters, Sharon King-Davis and 
husband, Nero, and Roneka King and companion, Jamal Jackson; brothers, Kevin, 
Rodney, Taaka and wife, Tyshanell, and Kerry and wife, Bethany; and four 
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Junius King; twin brothers, Michael and 
Mitchell King; paternal grandparents, Willie Sr. "Bud" and Louise "Lalu" King; 
and maternal grandparents, James and Ethel Waller. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
