LANDRY, BESSIE LUCIE BORNE 
(December 16, 1921 - January 26, 2014)

Bessie Borne Landry, age 92, born December 16, 1921, passed away on Sunday, 
January 26, 2014 at her residence. She was a resident and native of 
Paincourtville.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 9:00 am until 10:45 
am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville. Mass of Christian Burial 
will be at 11:00 am from the church 

with burial in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church mausoleum in Paincourtville.

She is survived by six children; Daughter Lucy “Teenie” Woods of Napoleonville, 
son, James C. Landry of Napoleonville, daughter, Carol Ann Dupuis of 
Paincourtville, son, Robert “Bobby” Landry of Protem, MO., daughter Kathy M. 
Landry of Napoleonville and Michael A. Landry of Dutchtown. Numerous 
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Also survived by her siblings; brother Gerald Borne of Baton Rouge, sister 
Mercedes Daigle of Baton Rouge, brother Medric “Pete” Borne of Metairie, sister 
Verna Daigle of Napoleonville and brother Jules “Butch” Borne, Jr. of 
Napoleonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence F. Landry, sons; Johnny J. 
Landry and Donald L. Landry. Granddaughter Arlene Woods Lake, great-grandson 
Ryan Paul Templet, great-granddaughter and great grandson Bailey and Drake 
Hahn, great grand-son Braxton Bercegeay. Parents Jules and Noelie Borne. Also 
three brothers and five sisters.
