He was a native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 10:30 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife of 63 years, Dolores Hidalgo Morse, Houma, LA, daughters, Susan Miller, Houma, LA, Patti Faulk and husband Marshall, Houma, LA and Lisa Picou and husband Tommy, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Kevin Faulk, Kyle Faulk, Bridget Miller Guidry, Thomas Picou, Shawn Picou, Jordan Picou, great grandchildren, Julia Daigle, Katie Faulk, Isabella Faulk, Gavin Daigle, Anna Faulk, Emily Faulk, brother, Leroy Morse, sisters, Doris June Thompson, Betty Lou Clark, Shirley Morse. He was preceded in death by his, parents, James Douglas Morse and Flossie McDaniel Morse. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He worked for Schlumberger for thirty four years as a Special Operator. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was a softball umpire for over forty years and worked for the Sheriff's Department part time. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and gardening and loved his grandkids. The family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry, Dr. James Kevin Modisette, Dr. Hayden Lafaye, Terrebonne General Emergency Room Staff, Acadian Ambulance and the Houma Police Deparment.
