Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1401.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Godfrey Naquin, 84, a native and resident of Labadieville, was born Jan. 1, 1930, died at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. He donated his body to the Tulane University School of Medicine. He is survived by his wife, Isabella G. Naquin; daughters, Joanie (Keith) Albert, Julie Naquin, Johanna N. (Paul) Crawford, and Jacqueline Naquin; grandchildren, Tresha A. (Brant) Gaudet; Kara (Rusti) Albert, Emily Albert, Kaleb Naquin, and Austin and Matthew Crawford; and great-grandchildren, Bryce Gaudet, Lyla Gaudet and Miley Jo McCulla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Volzie and Linda Naquin; brothers, Lester Naquin and Bernard "Benny" Naquin; and sister, Mercedes N. Aizen. He was a Ccatholic and his hobbies were hunting and gardening. He was an insulator for Freeport-Sulphur, a butcher at National Food Store and a retired school bus driver. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Foundation. Thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and our wonderful caregivers. ======================
