Damian Moreno Negrete, 51, a native of Veracruz, Mexico, and resident of Gray, 
died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. 

Burial will be in Acuna, Mexico 

He is survived by his wife, Antonia Mendez Hernandez; son, Javier Moreno Mendez 
and wife, Ashley; daughter, Gloria Moreno Mendez and husband, Jesus; six 
grandchildren; father, Arnulfo Moreno Policarpo; brothers, Juan and Miguel 
Moreno Negrete; and sisters, Carmela, Berta, Eva, and Francisca Moreno Negrete. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Louisa Negrete Sebastian; and 
sister, Luisa Moreno Negrete. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
